As we lambs know, Mariah carey is to release her 15th studio album until the end of 2017. As fans evidently we have expectations but what do we truly need for this latest effort.
1)A lead single that has the potential to be a big hit. In this way, the youth will understand that Mariah is still capable of producing a hit
2) Something to be distinguishable from her other works. A song that is different from her previous songs lyrically, vocally and musically will showcase her imaginative side and please us as well.
3)Vocals that she will be able to do live without lip-syncing. It is important to show that she can still sing live and that she still has it, silencing all the haters. But that does not mean that she should not do her typical vocal acrobatics.
4)Something butterfly related. Granted the fact that her Butterfly turned 20 it willl be nice to listen a song that might be a duology of a song off of this album.
5)Good promotion. We all know that her previous effort, Me I am Mariah...The Elusive chateuse, could not be considered equivalent to her former albums commercially, not because of trash music, but because her label did not promote well enough for it to be successful.
6) Collaborations. A good collaboration could be very helpful. We would love her to work with Beyonce, Celine dion, Ariana grande, and taking into account their comparison it will definately be a hit
7)A good name. She always gives good names but it would be preferable that she choose a smaller name that would be easily remembered and let it be intriguing and laconic.
